Our approach to healing is holistic and integrative, incorporating elements of mindfulness, education, and the application of evidence-based healing modalities. We work collaboratively with our clients to identify their goals and develop personalized treatment plans to achieve them.

Who We Are
Zachery Miller, CMS-CHt, FIBH
Hi , I’m Zachery, your hypnotherapist.
I'm a Board Certified Medical Support Clinical Hypnotherapist and a Fellow of the International Board of Hypnotherapy. I am also a founding partner of The Root Integrated Healing, where I am happy to offer you a pathway to real and lasting change.
I earned my bachelors in Secondary Education from Marshall University and an MA from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where I studied the works of Carl Jung and the Collective Unconscious. My master's thesis, titled, "Journey Inward, Journey Outward" was my first in-depth exploration of alternate states, and formed a foundational respect for the sacred knowledge that is available to us from within.
I have taught a wide range of students and subjects including Montessori at the Elementary level, High School Social Studies and Psychology, and Career Development for students looking to enter Trade School. Teaching has uniquely prepared me to be a compassionate and supportive guide through your journey of self discovery and transformation.
In my corporate career, I worked to advance large GC Firms into developing markets, both as a National Recruiter and Business Development Manager. Over the years, I have worked with many executives and business owners as well as carpenters and laborers- always as a strategic and resourceful partner. I know how to embrace fortitude to gain momentum and maximize results.
Now as a Hypnotherpist, I offer practical, research-based protocols that produce results. My methods are field tested, board supported, and customized to meet the unique needs of each client. My sessions evolved from over 400 hours of clinical training, where I was taught by Internationally renowned Hypnotherapists to effectively deliver these techniques, proven effective by NIH-funded research conducted at the University of New Mexico Medical Center.
Every session is private, confidential and conducted either in person here along the beautiful Carolina Coast, or virtually on Zoom.

Megan Miller, Reiki Master in Usui Tibetan Reiki and Holy Fire ™ Reiki
Hello! :)
My name is Megan Miller and I am the founder and co-owner of The Root Integrated Healing. I am classically trained in traditional Usui Reiki and Holy Fire Reiki, having earned my Reiki Master certifications through Duke Integrative Medicine under the instruction of Deborah Dixon.
My journey into natural healing began after years of working in a high-stress role and ignoring my well-being, which led to a severe decline in my physical and emotional health by my late 20s. A family history of autoimmune disease pushed me to explore holistic healing modalities, transforming my lifestyle and perceptions.
Some of the most transformative changes I experienced came
from working with Hypnotherapy, Reiki energy healing, and herbal medicine. Through daily practice of Hypnotherapy and Reiki, I was able to find simple, everyday techniques to help heal my body, mind, and spirit, and gain a new perspective on healing through the mind-body connection.
Healing is an incredibly personal journey, each of us making changes at our own pace. As our modern world works against our nervous system, it is more important than ever to create the space for ourselves to get out of survival mode.
Now, I am dedicated to just showing up and creating the space for others in their healing. I offer Reiki sessions in person or virtually, as well as Hypno-Reiki, distance Reiki and Reiki certifications and classes.
